Jasco
Jasco brings a lifetime of gigging experience to The Mighty Jivesters. He’s spent most of his life on the road touring 220+ days per year playing most states and several countries in Europe. He has played many festivals, including the King Biscuit Blues festival, Dusk til Dawn, Greeley Blues festival, Snowy Range Music festival, and many others. He has also been featured in Blues Revue, Living Blues, Blues Access, Guitar For the Practicing Musician, Gig, Southland Blues, Blues Matters, Elmore (upcoming), and many local and regional magazines as well.
Since moving to Colorado 4 years ago, he has played many venues with acts such as Bobby Walker, Andy Irvine, Billy Branch, Zora Young, Brian Hornbuckle, Blinddog Smokin, The Shamans, Mojambus, Gretchen Troop, Eugene Sings the Blues, and Roadhouse Joe, in additions to gigs under his own name, and now with The Mighty Jivesters.
Jasco focuses on melody, groove, and tone over flash, and brings some unique outside influence to the blues, from Django Reinhardt to flamenco to Jeff Beck.
